We start our morning by heading the Ueno Park. From Ikebukuro to Ueno Station, it cost us ¥170 per way per person (around MYR6.30 per person). Walked down the park, went to the pond and there was sort like Yakuza gathering there! Luckily during that gathering, we were about to leave the park!

From Ueno Park, we went to Asakusa Station which cost us ¥170 per way per person (around MYR6.30 per person). Went to the Sensoji Temple and walk down the shopping street of over 200 meters called Nakamise. We shopped for some souvenirs here!

From Asakusa, we went to Tokyo Skytree. We took photos outside without went up to the tower, as there is a shopping mall there.



At night, me and my brother went to Akibahara which cost us ¥200 per way, per person (around MYR7.40 one way per person). Stopped at the Gundam Cafe and just walked around. The wind was so strong and cold, obviously! Then we head back to apartment!

It took me only 2 weeks to really finalized my itinerary to Tokyo from 02 - 06 May 2016. With the help of my lil bro, Pejal, we managed to bring our parents to Tokyo!

Me n my parents are already checked in as we are using my last n final FOC ticket. It was just my lil bro, Pejal taking the standby ticket from Kuching to Narita. KL to Narita was not a problem since the flight was half full! Luckily with the help of my friend in KCH, we managed to get the seat for Pejal.

We gathered in KLIA to take the flight to Narita Airport, Tokyo.

Reached Narita Airport at around 0740hrs, local time Tokyo. As we do not really in a rush, so we just walked slowly for the gate to arrival. At the immigration, I am not sure why it took quite longer time for me to settle.

We went down to the train area to reload the Suica cards I borrowed from Kak Zila and Kak Jah. Since Pejal wanted to purchase the Suica card for himself, so I just follow his to the counter and he managed to buy 1! As for reload, we have to go to the machine. Luckily, there are instruction in English!

We took the cheapest transportation from Narita Airport to to the city! Since we need to go to Ikebukuro station to get to our apartment! From Narita Airport Terminal 2, to Nappori station only cost us ¥1030 each, around MYR38.00 by taking the Keisei Main Line Limited Express. Then, from there, we took the JR Yamanote Line to Ikebukuro Station, ¥170 around MYR6.30 each.

At Ikebukuro Station, with the help of my lil bro, Pejal,  we managed to get to the surface and look for our apartment we paid from airbnb. So far, my parents just stayed at the apartment, whereas me & my brother went to Sunshine City nearby. Found the Daiso shop there at the ground floor, and spotted the Pokemon Center and Pejal surveyed the G-Shock watch for his friend.

Since I am a frequent shuttle user to commute to KLIA, I find that it is useful to share this information with others.

So, below are a few information I found on the internet with the schedule and as well as the website of the shuttle providers to/from KLIA or KLIA2.

Trans MVS Express Sdn. Bhd. - Nearest to my office at the moment. Connecting Subang Skypark to either KLIA or KLIA2. MAB staff will get discounts if you show your staff id!

Airport Coach Sdn. Bhd. - Used to take this operator from KL Sentral to KLIA vice versa when my parents were around and stayed nearby KL Sentral. MYR10 per trip at the time.

Redbus.sg - A Singapore company providing services from/to Singapore and Malaysia. The link is specifically to/from KLIA.

Catch That Bus - Here, they gather a few shuttle operators at one place. Such as Airport Coach, Nice, Plusliner etc.

Star Shuttle - Providing services from Ipoh, Sitiawan and Teluk Intan, to KLIA, KLIA2, Johor Bahru and as well as Singapore!

Other than these, you may just search from the internet, and more choices will be provided. I have tried the services from the first to providers, and you are welcome to share your experiences with the other 3 providers listed above! Happy shuttling!

13 July 2011: I went to Adelaide, Australia for the 1st time on the 13 July to 16 July 2011. And also, it was my 1st duty travel after working almost 4 years with Malaysia Airlines. Hehe .. so the unplanned trip .. Luckily I have some extra cash to bring along .. 14 July 2011: Reached Adelaide on the early morning. Straight away we went to the hotel, and freshen up. Then we took a walk to the office, just around 10 minutes walk! Hehe 15 July, Friday. Went to the office again. During our 2 hours break, where as I have to go for Friday prayer, instead I went to the market for lunch and for some shopping. Mostly shopping for souvenirs. Took the train back and forth, for free! Coz it was only in town. Quite convenience and I can say, I can go out alone, and come back to the hotel safely! Huhu. At night, went for dinner with bosses. Brought them to the market with train as well for their final shopping! Reached hotel, packing and sleep! 16 July 2001: Planned to have some breakfasts at a Malaysian restaurant, The Swinging Bowl (aka Mangkuk Hayun in Malay), but it closed. So I had a tuna sandwich and a hot chocolate for breakfast, at the shopping mall near by. Not so near, actually! Haha .. Then, have a final walk, before heading back to hotel and check out. Had a blast. Cool short trip. Very economic trip as I only brought money for myself, as ticket and the stay are paid by the office! Hope to come back here, one day .. Huhu

2Nov ari tu, sampai dr Geneve .. rasa mcm nak stay sana seminggu lg .. tp apakan daya, cuti dah clear .. so kena balik mesia .. klu x, lenguh lak nak mjwb HR kang .. tp puas ati lah .. coz nih 1st time travel g europe .. dpt lak main snow, walaupun baru spring! haha ..

hari nak travel .. aku baru terhegeh2 g beli kasut coz baru tukar rest day .. patut aku plan nak g shopping last minute on selasa, coz originally on selasa rest day aku .. tpaksa dikorbankan sebab aku terlebih apply cuti .. i was adviced to get unpaid leave to cover sehari tlebih tuh, but controller kat ofis suruh aku cancel leave on friday tuh, n korbankan hari selasa .. kalu x, tercemar nama aku .. settle jugak lah sumer benda .. aku sampai rumah pun agak2 5pm gak kot? pack2 barang, mandi semua, then tunggu member kitorg .. coz dier patut g pick up laki dier dr Jakarta ..

13 jam kemudian .. sampai lah terminal 1 airport Paris .. so kena kejar terminal 2 lak tuk ambik paris - geneve guna air france .. paling sakit ati dah sampai shuttle station, x leh nak bawak trolley masuk ke situ .. dgn beg yg byk, coz pesanan dpd kawan2 n bakal kawan2 kat geneve, kitorg tpaksa mengangkut beg2 ni 2 kali .. dah settle with all the bags, sampai2 teminal 2F, dah almost 10am .. so mmg xleh lah catch flight tuh .. so kitorg 4 org stand by flight 12 tgh ari dr paris ke geneve .. so sempat lah g luar terminal, merasa udara luar .. bila hembus nafas, putih jer .. huhu .. mcm dlm movie! dah nama nya 1st time ke europe .. time almost nak winter lg tuh .. damn sejuk! but i love it so much .. once sampai geneve, joe pick up kitorg dr airport .. kisah2 angkat beg blaku lg ..xdilupakan dr airport ke kete joe! so sempat lah get ready, coz ada lunch invitation kat rumah en amin n kak amy .. they served us nasi lemak, ayam goreng rempah, the highlight of the day, the prune cake! celebrate birthday Joe pd hari tuh .. after the late lunch, joe plan nak bawak boboy g karaoke .. tp tempat tuh dah tutup .. last2 kebetulan azril n alia br balik dr paris gak kot? so we all picked them up at the railway station nearby .. then, kitorg sumer g rumah diorg bdua .. apa lagi, boboy pun layan lah karaoke! semput jugak lah lepas bantai nasi lemak, then nyanyi .. end up, almost 1030pm or 1130pm kot? baru kitorg balik .. coz esok nyer nak g gruyeres!
