My Strange World

Due to my Raya leave approved at the very last minute, I have to purchase the Business Class tickets to go back to hometown in Kuching

It cost me MYR499.26 from KL to Kuching (25 Jun 2017, 0945hrs), and MYR258.64 from Kuching to KL (29 Jun 2017, 2055hrs)

On 25 Jun 2017, i took the shuttle from Subang Airport to KLIA at 6.00am. So I reached KLIA at almost 7am. So, straight away, I go and check in.The counter gave me a meal voucher, MYR20.00
So I went to Cafe Barbera and buy myself a cup of coffee and croissant sandwich.

In the cabin
 Blanket & pillow
 The pillow
Welcome drink, apple juice

Breakfast on board: Nasi Lemak with Rendang, cut fruits, croissant, muffin & soft drink.

At home
Since my brother will only reach Kuching on the 2nd day of Raya, so no Berjarah session for the 1st day of raya. So spent some time with my family especially the youngest nephew of mine, Zafri. Also bought some Gindaco takoyaki and Mr Donut's donuts.
I brought the Kek Lapis Asam Manis I baked the day before too.

The capital of Thailand, Bangkok is a very special place for me! I went there for my 30th birthday in 2012, then 2013 and with my parents in 2014! Surely, I missed Bangkok so much.I just wish I can visit Bangkok again!

Back in 2012. Supposedly a group trip of 4, became a pair trip of 2 at the very last minute! Just a week and a few days before the trip, 2 of us cancelled the trip. Leaving me and Firdaus to decide whether to go or not to go. We shorten the trip from 4 days to 3 days (24-26 Nov 2012). We celebrated my 30th birthday in Bangkok on a Tuk Tuk!

At the very last minute, I managed to found a hostel, Saphaipae Hostel! A very well known hostel in Bangkok! Me and Firdaus stayed there for 2 nights! There are TV room and a laundry room! I remember watching Spider-Man movie in Thai language! Hehehe

We asked the direction to Chatuchak Weekend Market at the concierge and luckily, we found the famous market!

2013
We went back to Bangkok for a little shopping for Firdaus' mini online business. We stayed at the same hostel, but this time we paid for the deluxe double bed.

2014
I went to Bangkok for the 3rd time, and this time with my parents. We also stayed at the same hostel, just that we booked the double bed for my parents, and I took the mixed dorm. Most of my activities was at my parents' room.

Brought my parents to the Chatuchak Weekend Market, then the market next to it Or Tor Kor Market. We went to Madame Tussauds Bangkok and also the shopping complexes.

At Chatuchak Weekend Market, I never failed to go to Mix Me Grass Jelly Drink

My main transportation are the public transport such as the BTS, the MRT, the taxis, the buses and the Airport Rail Link.

Reached home at around 7.30am from work. After lunch at home, we off to Aeon Shah Alam. Went to the toys area for the boys to take photo with the Gundam display. We had the famous Gindaco Takoyaki and more photos.

Then, we off to the i-city! The trick to get a lower entrance fee is, to come in at 7.00pm onwards! i-city theme park is closed during Ramadhan month!

Heading to Genting Highlands for our one night stay at the First World Hotel and the Power Rangers Live in Genting 2016 show! We took the Express Bus from One Utama at 11.30am. We purchased the bus tickets together with the Genting Skyway tickets.

We meet up my sister, her husband and the youngest of The Amielzas at the lobby. We booked 2 Triple Deluxe Rooms with 3 VIP Adult ticket and 2 VIP Child tickets for the Power Rangers show.

Reached the hotel at around 1.00pm, since we have small children and elderly, we proceed with early checkin. Early checked in cost us MYR5.00 for each room. At that time, no connecting rooms and no nearby rooms available. So, one of the rooms at the 23rd floor, and the other one was at 27th floor. So, me and my parents were in the room on the 23rd floor and my sister and her family were on the 27th floor room.

At around 3pm, I went down to get the tickets at the Genting Box Office at Genting Grand. At that time, there were a lot of people coming up as the standard check in time is at 3.00pm!

We had dinner first before we go to the show.

The Power Ranger show was at night, at 9pm and finished at 10pm.

Thursday, 02 Jun 2016
Checked out at 8.00am, since we to need to be at the Genting Skyway station before 9.30am to catch the bus there. Then from Genting Skyway, we took the Express bus to One Utama.

They took the 9.00pm flight back to Kuching.
